UK Innovator Founder Visa — An Overview

The Innovator Founder Visa targets individuals with relevant business experience and enough funds to establish and expand a new business in the UK.

Before applying, applicants must have their business or business idea evaluated by a Home Office-approved endorsing body.

The body will assess the business’s feasibility, and if it meets the criteria, issue an endorsement letter to accompany the application.

Successful applicants are granted permission to stay in the UK for three years and can bring their family members.

After three years, they can apply to extend their stay for another three years or for permanent settlement under indefinite leave to remain (ILR). Endorsement from an endorsing body is required for each stage of the process: initial application, extension, and settlement.
